**Global Asset Management**

Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

**Credit Research**
- Responsible for researching and monitoring Indian companies across sectors. This includes, performing detailed fundamental credit research for new and existing issuers appraising their business risk, financial risk, operating risk and governance risk.
- Research should be backed by detailed financial debt models along with, internal rating models for short term and long term investment and maintaining the same for earnings and other material events; periodic interaction with the companies & rating agencies; participation in various conferences & forums
- Ability to analyses bond structures in case of structured instruments whenever the need arises
- Providing early warning on potential downgrades in the approved entities
- Interacting with issuers and arrangers and evaluating peer funds for identifying opportunities in the new issue space

**Economic Research & Others**
- Researching and forecasting the impact of key economic variables impacting the fixed income markets viz. inflation, currency, global & local rates, fiscal parameters such as budget deficit, budget spending, bond supply, liquidity, credit trends
- Ability to writing thematic notes on topical events such as RBI policy, budget, inflation and credit trends
- Ability to work on PowerPoint and prepare Marketing presentations / fund presentations as required
- Providing inputs in fund management via views on rates, key economic events that could impact duration calls
Requirements
- Professional Qualification of either Chartered Accountant or MBA
- Relevant Experience of 8-10 years
