- **Firefighters**Firefighters are responsible for fighting fires and responding to emergencies. Firefighting supervisors assign firefighters based on the situation and instruct them on how to respond to emergencies.
- **Safety supervisors are responsible for ensuring that employees follow health and safety rules, and for preventing and correcting unsafe conditions**:

- **Training: Safety supervisors train employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.**:

- **Inspections: Safety supervisors conduct daily inspections of equipment, tools, and the workplace to identify and correct hazards.**:

- **Emergency preparedness: Safety supervisors prepare and execute emergency response plans, and conduct emergency drills.**:

- **Accident investigation: Safety supervisors investigate accidents and unsafe conditions, and ensure that corrective action is taken.**:

- **Safety awareness: Safety supervisors develop safety awareness campaigns to promote a fire-safe environment.**
