**The Role**: Associate, IT Service Operations

**The Team**:
S&P Global Hosting provides cloud hosting services for our Loan Franchise products. The Cloud team is responsible for deploying, maintaining and supporting infrastructure on the AWS platform for our loan software clients. We work closely with our Product Support teams and our Development teams to ensure that the client experience is a positive one.

**The Impact**:
Our Hosted offerings are designed to provide a reduction in total cost of ownership to our software clients. Hosting WSO products and other software offerings on the AWS platform eliminates the need for our software clients to install, manage, upgrade and monitor our products on their own servers. The Cloud Engineer will build, monitor, and support these client environments on the AWS Cloud Platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operational support of client installations of Wall Street Office in the AWS public cloud.
- Assist in the development of processes and practices as it relates to the migration of workloads to AWS.
- Automate standards operational practices and processes as needed.
- Help in designing and testing operational integrity of the client environments.
- Respond to operational incidents and address/correct issues found to restore services.
- Document root cause analysis of issues identified and participate in process improvements to prevent additional issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing DevOps team best practices

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 1 year of Devops or similar infrastructure-based experience
- Understanding of Devops practices and ability to work in a strong team
- Experience in MS Windows based infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of industry best practices around Information Security, Windows Operations and AWS Public Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Strong understanding of scripting tools and technologies; specifically, YAML, PowerShell and JSON
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Strong time and project management skills
- Bachelors degree preferred
