**The Role: Data Researcher**

As a Data Researcher, your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyse, and interpret large sets of data. You'll work with multiple datasets, employing statistical methods to extract any meaningful insights and present your findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Training will be provided in all aspects of the role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Collection and Analysis**: Design and execute data collection strategies to gather relevant information from various sources.
- **Statistical **Modelling **and Analysis**: Use statistical methods to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven predictions.
- **Data Visualisation**: Create comprehensive visualisations, charts, infographics, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- **Research and Development**: Stay informed about international, national, and industry-related data, news, policies, and initiatives. Review and analyse reports from authoritative national and international telecom organisations.
- **Report Formulation and Analysis**: Draft, analyse, and interpret data reports from companies.
- **Database Management**: Create and maintain an accessible and easy-to-understand excel and online database to store all data findings and insights.
- **Documentation**: Maintain thorough documentation of data research processes, methodologies, and findings.

**Personal Attributes**:

- Experience as a researcher/analyst in telecommunications sector.
- Numerate.
- Interest in cellular technologies and connectivity services.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident.
- Articulate, with excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Organised, productive, and able to work to strict deadlines.
- Quality conscious with a high attention to detail.
- A friendly team player.

**Skills**:

- Excellent computer skills with hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and effectively communicate complex markets, products, technologies and ideas.
- Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar preferred.
- Good presentation skills.
