**Job Title: General Duty Assistant**

**Job Summary**:
As a General Duty Assistant (GDA), you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to patients and healthcare teams. Your responsibilities will involve a range of non-clinical tasks that contribute to the overall well-being of patients and the smooth functioning of healthcare facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide assistance with mobility and positioning of patients.
- **Comfort and Hygiene**:

- Ensure the cleanliness and comfort of patients by changing bed linens, maintaining a tidy environment, and assisting with personal hygiene.
- Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition or needs.
- **Nutritional Support**:

- Assist with the distribution and feeding of meals to patients as directed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record patients' dietary intake.
- **Transportation**:

- Escort patients to various departments for diagnostic tests, procedures, or appointments.
- Assist in the safe transfer of patients from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers.
- **Supplies and Equipment**:

- Maintain and organize supplies in patient care areas.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of medical equipment as needed.
- **Communication**:

- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, conveying information and ensuring clear communication.
- Report any concerns or observations regarding patient well-being to the nursing or medical staff.
- **Safety and Infection Control**:

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Follow safety guidelines in all aspects of patient care.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified training program for General Duty Assistant or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of healthcare practices, patient care, and safety protocols.

**Skills**:

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a healthcare team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting or assisting patients.

**Working Conditions**:

- May involve shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to various healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,868.30 per month
