## Job Description: Mechanical Supervisor Engineer for Solar Project Execution

**Job Summary**:
The Mechanical Supervisor Engineer will oversee the mechanical aspects of solar project execution, ensuring the installation and maintenance of solar power systems adhere to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This role involves coordinating with other engineering disciplines, managing on-site mechanical teams, and ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical components in solar energy systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Project Planning and Execution**:

- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems, including photovoltaic panels, inverters, and mounting structures.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and resource allocations for mechanical aspects of the project.
- Coordinate with design engineers to ensure project specifications are met.

2. **Team Management**:

- Lead and manage on-site mechanical teams, providing technical guidance and support.
- Conduct regular site meetings to review progress, address issues, and plan upcoming activities.
- Ensure team adherence to safety standards and protocols.

3. **Quality Control**:

- Monitor and inspect the quality of mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.

4. **Health and Safety**:

- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for on-site personnel.

5. **Coordination and Communication**:

- Collaborate with electrical, civil, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.

6. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, work logs, and inspection records.
- Prepare and submit regular project status reports to the Project Manager.
- Document any changes or deviations from the project plan and communicate these to relevant parties.

7. **Problem Solving**:

- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Propose and implement effective solutions to technical challenges.

8. **Budget Management**:

- Monitor project expenses related to mechanical works and ensure they remain within budget.
- Provide input for cost estimates and budget planning for future projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
