Receiving and Storage:

- **Receiving Goods**:Storekeepers receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect items for damage or discrepancies.
- **Storage**:They organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- **Inventory Management**:They maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.

Issuance and Distribution:

- **Processing Orders**:Storekeepers fulfill requests for materials from various departments or customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- **Maintaining Records**:They track the movement of materials, updating inventory records and ensuring proper documentation.
- **Issuing Materials**:They issue materials to authorized personnel, ensuring proper authorization and handling procedures are followed.

Other Key Responsibilities:

- **Physical Inventory Counts**:Storekeepers conduct regular physical inventory counts to verify records and identify discrepancies.
- **Maintaining Security**:They ensure the security of the store and materials, preventing theft and damage.
- **Compliance**:They adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management and safety.
- **Communication**:They communicate effectively with suppliers, internal departments, and other stakeholders.
- **Problem Solving**:They address any issues related to inventory, storage, or discrepancies.
