**Job Summary**:
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring proper storage of goods, and accurately processing inbound and outbound shipments. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized store or warehouse area, overseeing stock control, and supporting supply chain operations by ensuring the availability of materials and supplies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-maintained.
- Maintain up-to-date records of stock levels and manage inventory through manual logs or software systems.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records.
- **Stock Control**:

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams to reorder supplies before they run out.
- Track and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and avoid overstocking.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and coordinate with management for disposition.
- **Goods Receiving & Dispatch**:

- Ensure all goods received are properly documented and stored according to company policies.
- Prepare and package goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for the timely and efficient distribution of materials.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including purchase orders, goods received, and materials issued.
- Generate inventory and stock level reports for management as required.
- Ensure all records comply with company and legal standards.
- **Warehouse Organization**:

- Maintain a clean and organized store or warehouse area, ensuring that materials and supplies are stored safely and securely.
- Implement proper labeling systems for easy identification and retrieval of items.
- Follow safety protocols to avoid accidents or damage to materials.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Work closely with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in stock audits and inspections as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certification in inventory management or supply chain (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Prior experience as a storekeeper or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems is an advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing stock levels.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills, especially in using inventory management software.

**Competencies**:

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and responsibility.
- Physical stamina, as the job may require lifting and moving heavy items.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
