Field Service Technician

**The Field Technician will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and**

**troubleshooting of Akvo’s Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs). The role requires basic**

**should be hands-on, proactive, and customer-focused, ensuring that all systems function**

**efficiently with mínimal downtime.**

**Technicians will report to the Project Manager / Project Head and will be assigned to either**

**Chennai, Bangalore, or Mumbai, based on operational needs.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Installation & Commissioning**

**- Assist in the installation and setup of Akvo’s Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs).**

**- Ensure proper electrical and plumbing connections for smooth operation.**

**- Test and calibrate the system after installation to ensure optimal performance.**

**2. Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting**

**- Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent machine downtime.**

**- Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.**

**- Identify and fix minor refrigeration-related issues (advanced refrigeration expertise not**

**required).**

**- Respond quickly to customer complaints and service requests, ensuring mínimal disruption.**

**3. Customer Support & On-Site Assistance**

**- Educate clients on proper machine operation and basic troubleshooting.**

**- Act as the first line of support for customer queries regarding system functionality.**

**- Provide timely and professional customer service to ensure satisfaction.**

**4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain detailed service logs and maintenance records.**

**- Report technical issues, spare part requirements, and system performance to the Project**

**Manager.**

**- Assist in developing better troubleshooting guidelines based on on-ground challenges.**

**5. Spare Parts & Inventory Management**

**- Ensure availability of essential spare parts and tools for on-site repairs.**

**- Coordinate with the Project Manager for timely procurement of critical components.**

**Key Skills & Qualifications**

**Technical Skills**

**- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and minor refrigeration repairs.**

**- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.**

**- Experience in operating and maintaining industrial or commercial equipment preferred.**

**- Ability to work with basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.**

**Soft Skills**

**- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.**

**- Good communication skills to interact with customers professionally.**

**- Ability to work independently and manage on-site challenges.**

**- Willingness to travel between client locations within the assigned city.**

**- Hands-on approach and willingness to work in the field.**

**Experience & Education**

**- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related field.**

**- 1-5 years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support.**

**- Experience in HVAC, water systems, or industrial machinery is a plus.**

**Salary & Benefits**

**- Salary Range: ₹2.5-3.5 LPA**
