We are actively seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our dynamic healthcare team in the United Kingdom. This role is specially targeted towards talented individuals residing overseas, who are keen to work and relocate to the UK. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will conduct routine and complex tests to assist with diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality patient care.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform routine laboratory procedures and tests in haematology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, and other areas of the clinical laboratory as assigned.

Prepare samples/specimens for testing, following proper protocols to ensure that they will deliver accurate results.

Use and maintain laboratory equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition.

Adhere to infection-control and hazardous waste policies and protocols.

Follow the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient test results.

Analyse test results and deliver reports to physicians.

Monitor quality control measures and protocols.

Participate in the continuous improvement of laboratory practices and procedures.

Maintain patient confidentiality always.

**Qualifications**:
A degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.

Current and valid certification or license to practice as a Medical Lab Technician in your home country.

In the process of completing or willing to undertake the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration process in the UK.

IELTS or OET certificate to meet the UKVI’s English language requirements.

At least one year of professional lab experience.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection-control standards.

**Preferred Skills**:
Experience working in a multicultural setting.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Familiarity with current UK laboratory compliance regulations.

**Additional Information**:

Please Note: To work as a Medical Laboratory Technician in the UK, you must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The HCPC has a process for internationally trained healthcare professionals who wish to work in the UK. You will also need to prove your knowledge of the English language, so you’ll either have to have an English-speaking background or undertake an English language test such as IELTS or OET.
