As a part of the Laboratory Services team, he/she would be responsible for supporting laboratory operations, performing maintenance functions and completing non-technical routine laboratory tests and procedures under the direction of the laboratory director/head of lab services at the visa medical center.

Job functions include collecting various specimen from patients to perform the requested lab tests and prepare lab results as per the agreed timelines and SOP.

Role and Responsibilities

▪ Make sure that the patient met all requirements before specimen collection.

▪ Make sure that results are valid and accurate

▪ Follow up outsourced specimens if required.

▪ Check lab stock to ensure that there are enough supplies

▪ Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the lab director.

Essential Functions:
▪ Perform pre-analytical procedures.

▪ Perform daily maintenance of lab machines.

▪ Perform daily calibration and QC.

▪ Make sure of instruments readiness.

▪ Perform lab tests and confirm extreme ones.

▪ Turnaround time

▪ Accuracy of results produces

▪ Adherence to Policies & Procedures

▪ Customer satisfaction

OM & Reporting:

- Reports to lab director.

Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements:
▪ Diploma of Medical Technology specialized in Laboratories from one of the accredited institutes.

▪ At least one year experience in the field of clinical laboratory.

▪ Any certificate in medical labs from a certified institute.

▪ Profession practicing license from MOH/health regulatory authority in the country

Mandatory Skills:
▪ Specimen collection.

▪ Instrumentation.

▪ ELISA technique.

▪ Manual counting using Neubauer improved counting chamber.

▪ Slide preparation and basic microscopy.

▪ Cultivation of bacteria.

Preferred Skills:
▪ Blood film interpretation.

▪ Bacterial identification and determination of antibiogram.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
