Space-MAP features an innovative platform offering advanced Space Situational Awareness (SSA) analytics and real-time data visualization for objects orbiting the Earth and provides a captivating 3D interactive experience using immersive visual representations and intuitive graphics.

We are seeking a skilled and driven Visual Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Visual designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of our futuristic platform with the help of adaptive, responsive, and user-centric design solutions. Your work will involve creating clean, crisp, and pixel-perfect designs that make a visual hierarchy and balance between functionality and aesthetics. The role focuses on a profound understanding of 3D and 2D interactivity, visual representation of space-related activities, and translation of analytics into intricate yet simple graphics.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand the vision and requirements of the product
- Design unique, intuitive, visually appealing visual screens and relevant mood boards to achieve a futuristic, mínimalistic, and sci-fi design experience
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and animations to communicate complex concepts and features
- Develop and integrate 3D assets involving space-based elements and processes for an immersive visualization experience
- Develop a design library with individual design elements like buttons, tables, icons, and relevant assets for a seamless design flow
- Translate user flows and wireframes to simplify intricate interactions and visually compelling designs
- Maintain a consistent design language throughout the platform, following the crisp and futuristic theme
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and a seamless transfer of information
- Maintain and update a detailed design documentation to work across various teams and for future referencing
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, technologies, tools, and practices while sharing them with the team

**Required Qualification**:

- Degree in any design-related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual designs for web-based platforms with modern and futuristic design language
- Acumen in implementing visual design principles, composition, color theories, and typographies for a cohesive platform integration
- Intricate knowledge in creating responsive designs to adapt well to various platforms and screen sizes
- Conduct usability tests and gather user feedback to drive continuous improvements in design and usability
- Ability to clearly articulate the rationale behind design processes and defend design decisions
- Proficient in working with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.

**Preferred Qualities**:

- Elaborate portfolio showcasing futuristic visuals, working with 3d elements, sci-fi mood boards, and work related to web-based platforms in technology translation
- Demonstrated experience working with front-end developers to implement pixel-perfect designs
- Proven Experience in creating 3D elements and designing interactive, game-like 3D platforms
