Job Description: Application, Automation, and Manual Tester

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and versatile Application, Automation, and Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a skilled tester, you will design, develop, and execute test cases, identify and report defects, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Test Planning and Design:
○ Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

○ Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and functionalities.

○ Design and execute test scenarios to verify product behavior and performance.
- Test Execution:
○ Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects and ensure product

quality.

○ Document test results and report defects using appropriate defect tracking tools.

○ Retest fixed defects to verify their resolution.
- Automation:
○ Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools.

○ Identify suitable test cases for automation to improve efficiency and coverage.

○ Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting:
○ Accurately document and report defects using a defect tracking system.

○ Work closely with development teams to resolve identified defects.

○ Track defect resolution and retest fixed defects.
- Quality Assurance:
○ Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes throughout the software

development lifecycle.

○ Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality.

○ Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with various testing types (e.g., functional, non-functional, regression, integration).
- Proficiency in using testing tools and defect tracking systems.
- Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with API testing and performance testing.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
