Manual Tester

As a Manual Tester at TESTRIQ QA LAB, LLP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products/services through meticulous testing processes. You will collaborate closely with our development team to understand project requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases to identify defects and ensure optimal performance.

**Role -** Manual Tester
**Experience -** 1 to 3 years
**Location -** Mumbai
**Work Mode -** On Site
**Work Type -** Full Time

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
- Execute manual test cases to identify software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Document and track bugs and issues discovered during testing using designated tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in project meetings to provide testing updates, share insights, and contribute to project planning.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and new changes have not introduced new defects.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements based on testing insights and user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role, preferably in the IT Industry.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Mantis, Jmeter, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate technical concepts effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- ISTQB certification or similar certifications are desirable.
