**Job Description: Clinical Psychologist**
**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Nurturers Centre for Diverse Learners. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and support to children and adolescents with diverse learning needs. Your primary focus will be on understanding and addressing the psychological factors impacting our paediatric population to promote their overall well-being and academic success.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each learner.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy, to support students in overcoming psychological challenges and achieving their goals.
- Offer consultation and support to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to enhance understanding and implementation of strategies for supporting students' mental health and academic success.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in the field of clinical psychology and education to inform your practice and contribute to program development and improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological assessment and therapy to children and adolescents, preferably in a school or clinical setting.
- Experience working with diverse populations and sensitivity to cultural differences and individual needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and other professionals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining high ethical standards in clinical practice.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to the practice of psychology and education.
- Experience with assessment tools and techniques commonly used in pediatric psychology, such as standardized tests, behavioral observations, and interviews.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
- Training or certification in specialized areas of pediatric psychology, such as school psychology, neuropsychology, or developmental psychology.
- Familiarity with evidence-based interventions for addressing common mental health concerns in children and adolescents, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and social skills deficits.
**Salary**: 20000/month - 50000/month depending on the level of expertise and experience.
