**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking Oriental dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Execute various cooking methods such as stir-frying, steaming, braising, and deep-frying with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure the freshness, quality, and proper storage of all ingredients used in Oriental cuisine.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Oriental kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate cooking times and ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Monitor inventory levels of Oriental ingredients and supplies, and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the Head Chef.
- Assist in the development of new Oriental menu items, considering seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Oriental cooking techniques, recipes, and food presentation.
- Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations regarding food preparation, sanitation, and safety.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience working as a Chef De Partie or similar role, with a focus on Oriental cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of Oriental cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Strong culinary skills and the ability to execute recipes with precision and consistency.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality setting.
- Formal culinary training or relevant certifications in Oriental cuisine is preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
