As a Principal Network Architect, you will play a key role in focusing to convert requirements into the architecture and design. You’ll influence the design/engineering of the Baker Hughes global network environment on-prem as well as on public cloud.

As a Principal - Network Architect, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and driving delivery of major global programs, technical engineering, design and build work.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions
- Developing and maintaining system architecture and design documentation.
- Troubleshooting complex/critical incident, complex change implementation, and work on critical hub /core environments
- Providing highest level support and escalation of critical network-related incidents and outages from Baker Hughes Network Operations Center.
- Leading technical resolution of network-related Major Incidents working with multiple teams on outage bridges.
- Analyzing systems errors or anomalies, as well as specific network performance issues and/or error messages, in order to ensure maximum uptime and service quality and to assess trends that may ultimately result in degradation of service.
- Formulating and implementing monitoring, policies, and procedures and standards relating to network management processes, experience with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, NetBrain.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related in a STEM Major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) field with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Have a certification in CCIE certified or equivalent.
- Have a Deep understanding of networking technologies, network security, routing protocols (particularly BGP), switching, SD-WAN/LAN, SDN & cloud connectivity.
- Have an excellent understanding of DevOps concepts, tools and public cloud network architecture like AWS, Azure, OCI etc.
- Have an Experience with Network Automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc will be an advantage.
- Have an Experience with Aviatrix cloud networking will be an advantage.
