**Position**: Routing and Switching Protocols, Packet Forwarding, COS, Firewall, Access Security Testing and Automation

Group Description

The team is responsible for driving technology leadership in Juniper’s switching products (EX and QFX, MX, TPTX), deployed in some of the world’s largest enterprises and data centers. JDI is driving Juniper’s growth in revenue and market share in the switching, and routing space, by delivering market-leading products with continuous innovation and relentless execution.

**About the Position**:
**Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- platforms features qualification
- Design quality test plan based on Requirements
- Building topology required for testing
- Good analytical skills
- Execute test cases and create automation scripts.
- Provide weekly reports on progress

**Desired Technology Knowledge on**:

- Switches and IP Networking Fundamentals.
- Expertise in one of the below technical areas
- Layer 2:

- Datacenter & Switching technologies
- STP,RSTP,MSTP
- Access control, DHCP, Dot1X, POE
- FCOE
- Virtual chassis, clustering
- Layer 3:

- Routing and routed protocols
- MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN
- OSPF, ISIS, BGP
- Platform-specific features:

- COS, Firewall, ACL
- Schedulers, Rate limiters
- Virtualization technologies
- Multi chassis, clustering
- Automation is mandatory for all technical areas
- Perl, python, robot

**Experience/Qualification**:

- BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH from reputed university/college

5+ years of experience in networking products qualification
- Certifications in networking like JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP or equivalent will be an added advantage
