Purpose of role: Software Development for 4G/5G CU
Experience: 5 -10 yrs
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and developing 4G/5G innovative products and features on a
virtualized architecture, focussing on 5G-CU.
Debugging and fixing customer issues.
Working closely with System Architect team and other RD teams.
Key Skills, Experience:
Good Knowledge and Experience in developing 5G-CU systems: CUCP,
CUUP, NGAP, XnAP, E1AP, F1AP, RRC, PDCP.
Good knowledge and Experience in developing 4G systems (Layer 3):
RRC, PDCP, S1AP, X2AP, SON, PDCP.
Well knowledgeable in 3GPP specifications.
Expertise in C/C++ programming.
Working knowledge on 4G/5G Layer 3 Procedures like Attach,
Handover, Re-Establishment, Carrier Aggregation and ENDC is an added
advantage.
Good Programming and debugging skills on Linux.
Good understanding of IPC, Process, Threads, Multithreading Concepts.
Experience with Kubernetes, Pods, Dockers is an added advantage.
Good Team Player and good communication skills.
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Must be a team player and work closely with others in the team.
Must be highly responsible and self-motivated to get the job done.
Must be diligent in producing documentation and facilitate knowledge
sharing with other members of staff.
