**Job brief**

**Responsibilities**
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

**Requirements and skills**
- 4 to 10 Years of experience as a Server Administrator
- Experience with **SQL databases**, networks (LAN, WAN) and **Server patch management**:

- High availability server maintenance
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms **Windows up to 2020 and Linux**:

- **Disaster recovery management **and configuration
- experience with **various server maintenance tools**:

- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- B.E/B.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- RS Puram, Coimbatore - 641002, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 4 years (preferred)
- Server management: 4 years (preferred)
