The FFG Main Operator with 4-Colour Printing Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the FFG (Flexo Folder Gluer) machine in conjunction with the 4-colour printing unit to produce printed packaging products, such as corrugated boxes, folding cartons, and other packaging solutions. This role requires technical proficiency in both flexographic printing and the setup and operation of the FFG machine, ensuring high-quality printed output and efficient production processes. The operator must ensure that all production runs meet customer specifications while maintaining mínimal downtime and optimal machine performance.

Required Education: Diploma in Printing with min 3 to 5 years Experience as FFG Main Operator with 4-Colour Printing Operator Profile in Printing and Packaging Industry

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **FFG Machine Operation**:

- Operate the FFG (Flexo Folder Gluer) machine, which integrates flexographic printing, folding, and gluing, to produce printed and finished packaging products.
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust the machine settings for each job based on the job ticket or production order, including ink settings, printing plates, die-cutting parameters, and gluing options.
- Monitor the machine to ensure smooth operation, adjusting settings as needed to ensure high-quality production with mínimal waste.
- Perform machine changeovers between different product runs, including adjustments for varying sizes, materials, and print jobs.
- **4-Colour Printing**:

- Operate the 4-colour flexographic printing unit, ensuring that printed materials meet quality standards for colour consistency, registration, and design accuracy.
- Adjust the ink supply, printing plates, and machine settings to achieve optimal print quality.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure colour alignment and registration, making real-time adjustments to achieve the required print quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on printing rollers, plates, and other components to ensure proper ink distribution and quality control.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular checks throughout the production process to ensure the printed products meet quality standards for print accuracy, colour consistency, and overall finish.
- Inspect the printed material for defects, such as smudging, misalignment, or ink inconsistencies, and make immediate adjustments to the process to correct any issues.
- Record quality checks and report any production issues to the supervisor.
- **Machine Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance on the FFG machine and printing units, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts (e.g., rollers, plates, and blades) to maintain efficiency and minimize machine downtime.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, including mechanical and electrical issues, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to keep the production process on schedule.
- Work with the maintenance team to resolve complex mechanical problems and ensure that all machinery is in optimal working condition.
- **Production Coordination**:

- Collaborate with other operators, supervisors, and production teams to ensure a smooth flow of work and meet production targets.
- Ensure raw materials (e.g., inks, printing plates, paperboard) are available and of high quality to avoid production delays.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring that production areas are safe and free of hazards.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow all company safety protocols and industry standards while operating machinery and handling materials, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding waste disposal and the handling of chemicals, inks, and adhesives.
- Report safety hazards and work with the safety team to resolve potential risks in the production area.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Complete and maintain accurate production records, including job details, ink usage, machine settings, and quality checks.
- Report production status, issues, or delays to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Document maintenance activities and parts usage to ensure proper tracking of machine health and inventory.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other machine operators, quality control personnel, and production teams to meet production goals and maintain high standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring new or junior operators on machine operations, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Provide feedback to the production supervisor regarding machine performance and any improvements that could enhance productivity and quality.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
