**Responsibilities**:

- To study & interpret tender documents/drawings/contract agreements to extract most optimized quantities.
- Preparation of BOQs for Highways /Bridges /flyover s/interchanges /Marine structures / industrial structures, etc. by appropriate interpretation of tender documents/contract agreements as an independent estimation expert.
- To work and prepare rate analysis for civil engineering items with reviews & inputs of appropriate backups & justifications.
- Project scheduling with understanding of major activities, its WBS concepts & brief methodologies, project risk identifications/documentation.
- Processing of land acquisition & working of LA costs for highway/bridge projects.
- To identify, quantify & compile costing for utility related issues of the assigned projects from available data of contracts/agreements, etc.
- To plan/attend site visits at assigned project locations with collection of project data/details/etc. in coordination with design engineers & other seniors to present it in a well compiled format.
- Will be working on BOQ/cost estimates/RA w.r.t. prevailing MoRTH/PWDs/CPWDs/NHAI & other applicable norms in line with SORs/USSRs/etc.
- Will be working 3-4 projects simultaneously especially in working out BOQs/cost estimates/presentations for Highway projects with time bound arrangements.
- Responsible for all correspondence, documentation & maintenance of project related records.
- Responsible for coordination between internal & external highway/bridges/structure design teams to arrive at most workable & optimized project quantifications/costs/outputs.
- Responsible for presenting worked out data to project clients/owners independently with proper technical justifications.
- Responsible play a role of Team Leader for Team size of 4, along with his/her own individual assignments.
- We expcet value-engineering inputs during preparation of BOQs/Cost Estimates/DPRs/Pre-Bids/Detailed Engg projects.

**Technical Skill Set Required**:

- Must be familiar with basics of Highway engineering/Bridge engineering/General civil engineering. Must have knowledge of prevailing IS/IRC codes with its interpretations to work out quantities accordingly.
- Must possess good computer skills, preferably with advanced MS Excel & other software, especially for working of quantities, rate analysis, etc. Expertise in AutoCAD will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of engineering materials and behaviour is preferable. Interpretation of geotechnical reports is a must. Familiariaty with modern topographic survey techniques and interpretation of survey reports.
