**Job Description: Chef de Cuisine - Chocolate Outlet (Central Kitchen)**

**Location**: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai
**Salary**: ₹10 LPA - ₹12 LPA

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Menu Development**:

- Design and curate a premium range of chocolate-based products, desserts, and confections.
- Innovate new recipes, keeping up with market trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure all products meet the brand’s quality and taste standards.
- **Production Management**:

- Oversee daily production activities in the central kitchen to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for raw materials.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and other regulatory requirements.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Manage and mentor the kitchen team, providing training and skill development.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure smooth workflow in the kitchen.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- **Cost Control and Budgeting**:

- Monitor kitchen expenses, optimize resource utilization, and control food costs.
- Ensure adherence to the allocated budget without compromising quality.
- **Equipment and Maintenance**:

- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and tools.
- Report any technical issues and coordinate for timely repairs.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the management team to align production with sales strategies.
- Provide regular updates on production, inventory, and staff performance.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 8-10 years in professional kitchens, with expertise in chocolate and dessert production. Prior experience in a central kitchen is preferred.
- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Baking, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, and other techniques.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A passion for innovation and attention to detail in culinary creations.
