**Job Description Of Concrete Pump Operator**

Job Summary: The Concrete Pump Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining concrete pumps used in construction projects. They ensure the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to various job sites, following established procedures and safety protocols. The Concrete Pump Operator plays a critical role in the concrete placement process, contributing to the success of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation:

- Operate concrete pumps to deliver concrete to designated areas on construction sites.
- Safely control the placement of concrete, ensuring accurate and efficient pouring.

Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations related to equipment operation and construction site activities.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Concrete Mixing and Quality:

- Coordinate with concrete batch plant personnel to receive properly mixed concrete.
- Monitor the consistency and quality of the concrete being pumped to ensure it meets project specifications.

Communication:

- Collaborate with construction site personnel, including concrete finishers and site supervisors, to ensure proper concrete placement.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Maintenance and Repairs:

- Perform routine maintenance on concrete pumps, including cleaning, greasing, and minor repairs.
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to maintenance staff for timely repairs.

Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate records of concrete delivery, including quantities and locations.
- Complete daily logs and reports related to equipment operation and maintenance.

Site Preparation:

- Assist in setting up the concrete pump at the construction site, including assembly and positioning.
- Ensure that the pump is stable and secure before operation.

Problem Solving:

- Troubleshoot operational issues that may arise during concrete pumping.
- Make quick decisions to ensure continuous and safe operation.

Training:

- Provide training and guidance to new pump operators as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a concrete pump operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete pumping equipment and its operation.
- Understanding of construction site safety protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude for performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and diagrams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle equipment and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

**Experience-3years and above**

**Salary**: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
