QC Lab Chemist Job Description
We are looking for a creative, cooperative chemical engineer with a wealth of technical and polymer industry knowledge and a talent for process optimization. The chemical engineer will work in the production unit to improve processes, equipment, and plants. You will also work with other engineers and team members from diverse backgrounds to understand project goals, design and propose solutions, and assist in implementing, troubleshooting, and reviewing plans as projects progress of layers, printing, slitting and laminations.
**Qualification & Experience**:
- Master’s degree in chemical or Bachelors’ degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Preferably MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science
- 5 years’ experience in Industry-specific knowledge may be required.
**Chemical Engineer Responsibilities**:
- Using scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes.
- Designing, proposing, implementing, reviewing, and correcting plans to ensure company goals are achieved.
- Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality.
- Establishing safety and waste management procedures.
- Assisting with establishing budgets and timelines.
- Work with suppliers to develop and qualify consumable supplies
- Independently lead and manage projects involving development or continuation support
- Conduct experiments and analyze data
- Conduct card durability testing
- Write technical reports
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics
- In-depth knowledge of polymer industry production unit process oriented like extrusion, printing and lamination.
- Knowledge in safety procedure, QMS, GMP, GHP, BRC, HACCO, etc.,
- Laboratory skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to develop proposals and write reports
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
