We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate NICU Nurse to join our
care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), including
those requiring critical medical attention.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide round-the-clock nursing care to newborns in the NICU.
Monitor and assess the health conditions of premature and critically ill
infants.
Administer medications, treatments, and feedings as prescribed.
Operate and maintain medical equipment such as ventilators, incubators,
and IV systems.
Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare
professionals to develop care plans.
Educate and support parents, addressing their concerns and providing
guidance on infant care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure infection control and adhere to all hospital policies and
protocols.
Act promptly in emergency situations to stabilize newborns.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (General Nursing and
Midwifery) with valid nursing registration.
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in a NICU or pediatric care setting.
Freshers with exceptional internship experience may also apply.
**Skills**:Strong observational and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of neonatal care procedures and equipment.
Certifications (preferred): NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS
(Basic Life Support).
