**What you will be doing**

Primary focus on UNIX and Windows, involving technologies in CommVault, TSM & Symantec NetBackup Tool giving technical support to various clients, remotely working on wide range of Midrange and Enterprise Servers and _Storage and SAN switch devices storage code upgradation._

**What you bring**
- _ Minimum 6 years of experience in Backup & Storage_
- _ Working Knowledge in UNIX and Windows, involving technologies in CommVault, TSM & Symantec NetBackup Tool giving technical support to various clients, remotely working on wide range of Midrange and Enterprise Servers_
- _ Good working knowledge on Commvault backup tools, IBM Spectrum ( TSM) & NetBackup _
- _Installation and Configuration of Commvault & TSM on windows and UNIX servers_
- _ Preparing health check reports for all master servers and calculating Backup Success Rate_
- _ Creation of backup policy, Storage units, Tape drives configuration, Tape movement_
- _ Troubleshooting of failed backup jobs_
- _ Co-ordinate with remote teams for any activities on TSM backup & comm vault backup’s respectively_
- _ Backup tools version upgradation_
- _ Good knowledge on handling backup audit process and data management methods_
- _ Taking care of pending vendor cases like Commvault, Symantec, EMC and IBM etc_
- _ Creating and working on tickets assigned to our group and closing as per SLA requirements_
- _ Decommissioning the client servers from policies based on approvals_
- _ Good working knowledge on process & SOP’s documentation_
- _ Hands on experience of IBM storwise and EMC storage devices administrative task (Creation of LUN/Deletion/Map/Unmap/Flash copy/Trouble shooting, Etc)_
- _ Hands on experience of Brocade and Cisco SAN switches (to check port connectivity/Zoning(creation/edit/removal)/ISL Truncating)_
- _ Troubleshooting the performance issues on Storage/SAN switch devices._
- _ Guiding/Training L1 engineers to perform the basic activities (health checks / Information sharing.. Etc) _
- _New storage/SAN switch devices procurement, Installation and configuration._
- _ Storage/SAN switch devices decommissioning._
- _ Hands on experience of Storage and SAN switch devices storage code upgradation._
- _ Good knowledge on ITIL process management. _
- _Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors._
- Required Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline._
