- Set up and run EDM machines.
- Set up and run CNC routers.
- Set up and run die presses.
- Listen to machines during operation.
- Adjust machine feed and speed.
- Change cutting tools.
- Adjust machine controls.
- Modify cutting programs
- Ensured that precision machinery is in working condition and properly calibrated.
- Checked machined parts using Measuring scope, Depth gauge, Microscope, Indicators, Other measuring tools, and visual inspection.
- Moved controls to align electrode and workpiece and to set electrode feed rate, depth limit, and electric current.
- Arranged and set up the material handling equipment and machinery.
- Maintained equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Detected, reported, and resolved all equipment problems and Issues.
- Determined program requirements based on design and engineering requirements.

EDM Operator will be responsible for total Wire and Sinker EDM programming, machine setup, operation, maintenance and safety. Programming experience preferred but not required. Ability to work with little supervision and direction. Must have a good attitude, be self -motivated and be able to meet planned time lines.
