**Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager** (PPIC Manager) plays a crucial role in managing the production processes and inventory within a manufacturing or production environment. Their primary goal is to ensure that production operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining optimal levels of inventory to meet customer demand without overstocking or understocking.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Production Planning**:

- Develop production schedules based on sales forecasts and demand.
- Collaborate with different departments (sales, procurement, production) to ensure the timely availability of materials.
- Prioritize production activities to optimize resources and minimize downtime.
- Adjust production plans as needed based on factors like lead times, equipment availability, or labor constraints.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Ensure inventory levels are optimized to avoid both stockouts and excess inventory.
- Regularly review and adjust inventory parameters (e.g., reorder points, safety stock).
- Work closely with procurement to ensure raw materials and finished goods are stocked efficiently.
- Track and manage inventory turnover rates to minimize holding costs.
- **Forecasting**:

- Work with the sales and marketing teams to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to predict future production needs.
- Use forecasting software and tools to generate and update demand forecasts.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes for greater efficiency.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques to reduce waste.
- Identify bottlenecks in production and work on solutions to mitigate delays.
- **Supply Chain Coordination**:

- Ensure smooth coordination between suppliers, warehouses, and production teams.
- Manage lead times, procurement cycles, and logistics to ensure the timely availability of materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any supply chain disruptions or delays.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and forecasts.
- Use data analytics to assess production efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management to drive decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications:

- **Strong Organizational Skills**: Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks, coordinate across departments, and prioritize work.
- **Problem-Solving**: Capable of identifying issues in production or inventory systems and coming up with practical solutions.
- **Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing**: Understanding of lean principles and how to implement them in a production environment.
- **Leadership**: Ability to lead a team, manage conflicts, and provide clear direction.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
