
Security Officer

4. Manage emergency response plans (e.g., fire evacuation, Code Red, Code Blue, Code Violet).
5. Coordinate with emergency services (e.g., police, fire department).
**Patient and Visitor Management**:
1. Ensure patient and visitor safety.
2. Manage access control and parking.
3. Monitor and control foot traffic.
4. Assist with patient escort services.
5. Handle disputes and conflicts.
**Employee Management**:
1. Train security personnel on hospital policies and procedures.
2. Conduct performance evaluations.
3. Manage security personnel scheduling.
4. Ensure security personnel adhere to code of conduct.
**Compliance and Regulatory**:
1. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.
2. Comply with local laws, regulations, and standards.
3. Maintain necessary certifications and training.
**Communication and Collaboration**:
1. Liaise with hospital administration, staff, and departments.
2. Communicate security concerns and incidents.
3. Collaborate with other hospital departments (e.g., facilities, nursing).
**Training and Development**:
1. Attend security-related training and conferences.
2. Stay updated on security best practices.
3. Develop and implement security training programs.
**Crisis Management**:
1. Develop and implement crisis management plans.
2. Coordinate emergency response efforts.
3. Ensure business continuity.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:
1. Incident reporting and response times.
2. Security personnel training and compliance.
3. Patient and staff satisfaction surveys.
4. Security-related audits and inspections.
5. Compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Education and Certification**:
1. Bachelor's Degree or Degree / Diploma in Security Management or related field.
2. Security Management Certification (e.g., CPP, PSP).
3. Law Enforcement or Military Experience (desirable).
**Skills**:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Leadership and management abilities.
3. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Attention to detail and vigilance.
5. Ability to work under pressure.
