**Job Title**: Duty Officer - PVR CinemasPrimary Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision of Operations**:

- Ensure the smooth running of all cinema activities, including box office, food & beverage counters, auditorium screening, and customer lounge areas.
- Monitor and manage cinema equipment, including projection, sound systems, and seating arrangements.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address customer concerns, complaints, and queries professionally, ensuring a positive cinema experience.
- Oversee ticket sales, food services, and overall customer satisfaction.
- **Staff Management**:

- Supervise the front-line staff (ushers, ticket sellers, food counter workers) during shifts.
- Ensure all employees are performing their duties efficiently and resolve any staffing issues that may arise during the shift.
- Conduct staff briefings before shifts, communicate targets, and ensure adherence to PVR’s standards.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations in the cinema.
- Handle emergencies, like evacuations, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Oversee and audit cash transactions at the box office and food counters.
- Ensure the cash handling process is secure and compliant with company policies.
- **Technical and Maintenance Support**:

- Assist with technical troubleshooting of projectors, audio-visual systems, and any other equipment in the cinema.
- Coordinate with the technical team for maintenance and repairs as needed.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports, including customer footfall, sales, and technical issues encountered during the shift.
- Submit end-of-day reports to the cinema manager and senior management.
- **Marketing and Promotions**:

- Support cinema marketing activities, such as promotions, contests, and movie launches.
- Assist in implementing promotional offers and ensuring they are communicated effectively to customers.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or a related field is often preferred but not mandatory.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or retail is preferred.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Familiarity with cinema equipment like projectors and sound systems is a plus.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and staff.
- **Leadership & Team Management**: Ability to lead and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
- **Problem-Solving**: Quick decision-making skills, especially in handling customer complaints and technical issues.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Work Environment**:

- Working hours can include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- The role may require standing for long periods and managing high-pressure situations during movie screenings and peak periods.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
