Introduction:
The purpose of the role is to assist Treasury Finance Management Team advance their service model to the Barclays group as the Treasury Finance team looks to realise operational efficiencies driven from the deployment of strategic infrastructure and process remediation across the group structure.

What will you be doing?
- Support and assist with the development of a Treasury Finance plans aligned to strategic infrastructure development and roll outs
- Foresee, navigate and successfully communicate around issues as they arise, proposing tactical or strategic solutions which align with long term goals of strategic programmes via project planning and analysis.
- Support finance processes within Treasury Finance and help develop and implement best practice for new/amended processes within the finance function

What we’re looking for:

- Qualified Accountant with extensive experience of a broad range of financial products and accounting under IFRS
- Ability to problem solve and work through unfamiliar situations to propose sensible solutions
- Banking experience within a Finance or Treasury function

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Immediate/Advanced MS Excel based analytical ability
- Confidence in reporting to senior stakeholders (business leads)
