- **Programming**:Working with or creating CNC programs (G and M codes) using software and understanding the intricacies of Fanuc control systems.
- **Operation**:Operating CNC machines according to programmed instructions and ensuring accurate and efficient machining processes.
- **Quality Control**:Conducting in-process inspections and quality checks to maintain production standards and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- **Troubleshooting and Maintenance**:Performing minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting, and identifying and resolving issues that may arise.
- **Inventory Management**:Managing and anticipating the needed stock for machining operations, including tools and fixtures.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:Maintaining documentation related to machine setup, programming, and quality control procedures.
- **Safety**:Following company safety protocols and ensuring the safety of the work area.
- **Collaboration**:Working with engineers, production supervisors, and quality control personnel to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.

Skills and experience required for this role:

- **Technical proficiency**:Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, programming, and Fanuc control systems.
- **Analytical skills**:Ability to interpret engineering drawings, translate them into production parameters, and troubleshoot machine issues.
