The MEP Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in interior fit-out projects. The role involves translating design concepts into technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications, and coordinating with project teams for seamless execution.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting and Design**:

- Prepare detailed MEP drawings, including layouts, sections, elevations, and as-built drawings using CAD software.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, standards, and local regulations.
- Create detailed drawings for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire protection as per design specifications.
- **Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Work closely with architects, interior designers, and MEP engineers to incorporate design requirements.
- Coordinate with the MEP Coordinator and project team to ensure alignment of drawings with the overall project design.
- Update and modify drawings based on feedback from consultants, contractors, and project managers.
- **Documentation and Updates**:

- Maintain and organize records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
- Prepare and submit drawing sets for approvals and permits as required.
- Regularly update as-built drawings to reflect on-site changes during execution.
- **Site Support**:

- Provide technical support to the site team by clarifying drawing details and specifications.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between drawings and on-site execution.
- Conduct site visits to verify installations match drawings.
- **Software and Tools**:

- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant tools to produce high-quality drawings.
- Keep up to date with the latest drafting technologies and techniques.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and interior fit-out processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in an interior fit-out or construction company.
- Familiarity with MEP standards and practices specific to the region.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
