- **Client Representation**: Representing banks, financial institutions, or creditors before the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) in debt recovery proceedings against defaulting borrowers.
- **Legal Consultation**: Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on debt recovery strategies, rights, and obligations under the RDDBFI Act and other relevant laws.
- **Litigation Support**: Handling litigation matters related to debt recovery, including initiating legal proceedings, responding to defense arguments raised by borrowers, and presenting evidence before the DRT.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiating with defaulting borrowers or their legal representatives to reach settlements or repayment agreements outside the DRT proceedings.
- **Enforcement of Decrees**: Assisting clients in enforcing DRT decrees and recovering outstanding debts through various legal mechanisms, such as attachment of properties, garnishment of wages, or seizure of assets.
- **Legal Research**: Conducting legal research to stay updated on relevant case law, precedents, and regulatory developments affecting debt recovery proceedings and strategies.
- **Compliance Monitoring**: Ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and timelines prescribed by the RDDBFI Act and DRT rules during the debt recovery process.
- **Documentation Review**: Reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and other relevant financial records to assess the validity of the debt and determine the legal basis for recovery.
