**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the operating theatre and ensure that all necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and sterilized.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during laparoscopic surgeries, including gallstones and hernia repair procedures.
- Monitor and maintain the sterility of the operating theatre.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment specific to laparoscopic surgeries.
- Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for surgery.
- Adhere to established surgical protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations during laparoscopic procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and inventory of surgical supplies.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated with advancements in laparoscopic surgery techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- GNM, Diploma or degree in Operating Theatre Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working as an OT Technician, with experience in laparoscopic surgeries preferred.
- Proficiency in operating theatre procedures and surgical instruments specific to laparoscopic techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining sterility during advanced surgeries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of surgical safety protocols and guidelines related to laparoscopic procedures.
