You will translate these trends into captivating clothing products that resonate with our customers. Your creative vision and expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our seasonal collections.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Design Development**:

- Create original and trendsetting designs that align with our brand identity and target market's preferences.
- Develop comprehensive design plans, including sketches, mood boards, and fabric swatches, to illustrate design concepts.

**2. Trend Forecasting**:

- Stay ahead of fashion trends through research, market analysis, and attending fashion events, translating insights into actionable design strategies.

**3. Material Sourcing**:

- Identify and source high-quality and sustainable materials that align with brand values and design requirements.
- Prototype Development:

- Collaborate with pattern makers and seamstresses to develop prototypes, ensuring designs are both aesthetically pleasing and practical.

**4. Collaborative Efforts**:

- Work closely with the production team to oversee the design-to-production process, ensuring designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with marketing and sales teams to ensure product lines meet consumer demands and market trends.

**5. Feedback Integration**:

- Actively participate in fittings and adjustments, incorporating feedback to refine and perfect designs.

**6. Brand Contribution**:

- Contribute to the overall brand strategy, participating in branding and marketing efforts to ensure a cohesive and appealing brand image.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Proven experience in clothes design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your designs (experience in a startup environment is a plus).
- Deep understanding of garment construction, têxtile science, and production processes.
- Proficiency in fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical sketching.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid startup environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passionate about sustainable fashion and innovation.
