Sales activities: A field sales executive's job involves selling products or services to customers, both new and existing, and generating revenue. They may also need to:

- Conduct sales meetings: They may need to meet with customers face-to-face, or conduct presentations.
- Set sales targets: They may need to set sales targets for themselves and their team, and work to meet them.
- Monitor competitors: They may need to monitor competitors' products, marketing strategies, and sales activities.
- Administrative tasks: A field sales executive may also need to:

- Prepare sales reports: They may need to prepare and submit sales reports to management.
- Direct and supervise sales representatives: They may need to direct and supervise other sales representatives.
- Work with other departments: They may need to coordinate sales efforts with other departments.
- Travel: They may need to travel to meet with clients.
- Be flexible: They may need to be flexible with their working hours.

Some skills that may be required for a field sales executive include: Excellent communication skills, Strong time management, Ability to meet deadlines, Proven track record in achieving targets, and Customer service skills.
