**Job Summary**:
Foresttwin is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Intern to join our team. This role is crucial for expanding our platform by actively identifying, engaging, and onboarding new sellers and buyers. The intern will primarily leverage platforms like IndiaMart for lead generation and direct outreach, and will work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless integration onto the Foresttwin platform. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain invaluable experience in B2B sales within a rapidly growing and impactful sustainability sector. Exceptional performance during the internship will lead to consideration for a full-time position.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Generation & Qualification**:
- Proactively identify and research potential sellers and buyers on online B2B marketplaces, with a primary focus on IndiaMart.
- Qualify leads based on Foresttwin's target criteria and strategic objectives.
- **Direct Outreach & Engagement**:
- Articulate Foresttwin's unique value proposition and benefits clearly and persuasively.
- Build initial relationships and foster interest in joining the platform.
- **Seller Onboarding Support**:
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to facilitate the smooth onboarding process for new sellers.
- Assist in collecting necessary information and uploading seller details accurately onto the Foresttwin platform.
- Provide initial guidance and support to new sellers as they integrate with the platform.
- **Sales Tracking & Reporting**:
- Maintain organized records of all sales activities, interactions, and lead statuses in a CRM or tracking system.
- Contribute to weekly/monthly sales reports, providing insights on lead conversion and engagement metrics.
- **Market Feedback**:
- Gather feedback from potential and new clients to inform sales strategies and product development.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in environmental sustainability, carbon markets, and technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with direct client interaction.
- Familiarity with online B2B marketplaces, particularly IndiaMart, is highly desirable.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative in a sales-driven environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail for data entry and tracking.
- Ability to learn new platforms and processes quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
