Job Description Hospital Front Office & Billing Incharge

**Responsibilities**:

- **Front Office Management**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the front desk.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of the reception area, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and query resolution.
- Train and supervise front office staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage the patient waiting area, ensuring cleanliness and comfort.
- **Billing Operations**:

- Prepare and review patient bills for accuracy, ensuring all procedures, services, and medications are correctly documented and charged.
- Monitor billing transactions, including cash, card, and digital payments, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and address patient grievances regarding billing.
- **Insurance and TPA Coordination**:

- Liaise with Third-Party Administrators (TPA) for insurance claim processing.
- Review pre-authorizations and ensure timely submission of documents for cashless claims.
- Handle claim approvals, rejections, and follow-ups with insurance companies.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance claims and settlements.
- **Reporting and Compliance**:

- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for patient billing, payments, and pending claims.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and legal requirements in billing and documentation.
- Conduct audits of billing procedures to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between the billing department, patients, insurance companies, and other hospital departments.
- Provide detailed explanations of billing processes to patients and their families.
- Coordinate with medical staff for accurate entry of procedures and services into the billing system.
- **Technology and System Use**:

- Utilize hospital management software (HMS) for patient registration, billing, and TPA processing.
- Update patient records and insurance details accurately in the system.

- Proficiency in hospital management software and MS Office.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and billing systems.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
