**Position Title**:
**Quantity Surveyor**

**Function/Department**:
FACADE

**2. JOB PURPOSE**:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the cost aspects of our organization's projects. They will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

**3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Prepare cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure that costs are managed effectively.
- Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns and risks.
- Work closely with the project team to understand project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate project feasibility and profitability.
- Prepare and submit progress reports on project costs to project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure that materials and services are available when needed.
- Review and approve invoices and payment requests from suppliers and contractors.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members on cost-related matters.
- Maintain the records of variation submitted and approved.

**7. SKILLS**:

- Strong knowledge of cost estimating and cost management principles and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
