Cssd Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sterilization of Equipment**:

- Clean, inspect, and sterilize medical instruments, surgical tools, and other reusable medical equipment.
- Use sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other disinfecting devices.
- Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with sterilization protocols.
- **Inspection and Maintenance of Instruments**:

- Inspect surgical instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and condition before sterilization.
- Identify damaged, worn-out, or malfunctioning instruments and arrange for repairs or replacements.
- Ensure the proper handling of delicate equipment to avoid damage.
- **Packaging and Distribution**:

- Package sterilized instruments in sterile wrapping or pouches to maintain their sterility until use.
- Label packages correctly with relevant information such as date, sterilization cycle, and expiration date.
- Maintain proper inventory of sterile equipment and ensure timely restocking of supplies.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Follow infection control protocols to ensure all procedures are carried out in a sterile and safe manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes, including time, temperature, and equipment used.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and industry standards regarding infection control and equipment sterilization.
- **Safety and Quality Control**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent exposure to harmful chemicals and biological hazards.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed to meet hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with medical and surgical teams to ensure that sterile instruments are available when required.
- Assist in training new staff on sterilization procedures and infection control protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certification in CSSD or Sterilization Technology (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting as a CSSD Technician or similar role (preferred).
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, procedures, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and safety regulations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
