**Job Summary**

The Packing In-Charge is responsible for supervising and managing all packing operations in the garment manufacturing unit. The role ensures that garments are packed accurately, neatly, and as per buyer specifications, while maintaining quality standards, timelines, and productivity targets.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Planning & Coordination**
- Plan daily packing schedules in coordination with finishing and dispatch teams.
- Allocate manpower and resources according to the production plan and shipment schedule.
- Ensure proper segregation of orders, sizes, and colors before packing.
- **Packing Operations**:

- Supervise packing activities to ensure garments are folded, tagged, and packed as per buyer requirements.
- Monitor packing quality to prevent damages, stains, or mismatched labeling.
- Ensure the correct use of polybags, cartons, stickers, and barcodes.
- Check the measurement, packing ratio, and assortment before sealing cartons.
- **Quality & Compliance**:

- Coordinate with the Quality Control team for inline and final inspections.
- Maintain packing area cleanliness and compliance with buyer and audit standards.
- Implement 5S and safety protocols within the packing section.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain records of packed quantities, shipment readiness, and carton details.
- Prepare daily and weekly packing reports.
- Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch of finished goods.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise packers and helpers to ensure discipline and productivity.
- Provide on-job training for packing methods and buyer-specific requirements.
- Manage overtime and attendance of packing staff.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Strong understanding of garment finishing and packing processes.
- Knowledge of buyer packing standards and carton specifications.
- Ability to manage manpower and handle pressure during shipment peaks.
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, ERP entry preferred).
- Good communication and coordination skills.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Education**: Minimum 10+2 or Diploma / Graduate in any stream.
- **Experience**: 5-10 years of experience in garment packing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or in-charge role.
- **Industry Preference**: Export or domestic garment manufacturing unit.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
