**Primary School Teacher - Mathematics & EVS (Grade 1)**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:Academic**:

- Teach **basic Mathematics** concepts such as numbers, addition, subtraction, shapes, measurement, and patterns.
- Teach **Environmental Studies (EVS)**, introducing children to their surroundings, nature, family, school, animals, plants, safety, hygiene, and basic science in everyday life.
- Prepare and implement daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and grade-level expectations.
- Use storytelling, visual aids, activities, and play-based learning to simplify abstract ideas.
- Conduct regular **formative and summative assessments** to evaluate and track student progress.

**Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a **positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment**.
- Encourage curiosity, participation, and questioning in the classroom.
- Manage behavior with patience, positive reinforcement, and age-appropriate strategies.

**Administrative & Communication**:

- Maintain proper records of **attendance, assessments, and student portfolios**.
- Communicate regularly with **parents/guardians** regarding student progress and development.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **D.El.Ed. / B.Ed.** qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum **1-3 years of teaching experience** in a primary school setting is preferred.
- Strong command over **English** and/or the medium of instruction.
- Familiarity with **child development principles** and **early childhood education practices**.

**Key Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for teaching children
- Creativity in teaching methods and classroom activities
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to identify and support **slow learners or special needs students** when needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
