**Position**: - Dairy Packaging Operator **Experience**: - 2 to 5 yrs **Qualification**: - ITI **Location**: - Ranjhangaon, Pune - **Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities**: - Produce and Deliver Product as per Quality specifications and FG Norms within the specified Budgets. - Periodic maintenance of the machines as per requirement, maintain preventive maintenance schedule & assist maintenance team during breakdown maintenance. - Deploy right manpower at right place to get the maximum efficiency and output. - Ensures material availability for current and subsequent shift. Coordinates with RM stores officer/ production shift officer. - Ensure Safety of all workmen designated in area both Permanent and Contract. - Ensure Product Quality as per standard and Aim Zero FBC and QNN complaints. - Ensure GMP/GHP and excellence initiatives. - Monitoring the KPI’s of manufacturing section (Ensures Production loss and Manufacturing defectives is within targets). - Ensure Autonomous maintenance and CLRI implementation. Manage Production Activities a) Verify allocation and working condition of the machines. Check the adherence of operations to Quality systems and food safety norms like general hygiene, display boards, packphoto display. Assist the operators with any issue online. b) In case of any production plan change or breakdown, alter machine setting, plan material change, issue fresh instructions to operators. Arrange for coding studs from stores in case of promo stocks. c) Check product quality via visual inspection; randomly check pack quality (sealing, coding, and panelling) and product damage. Decide on acceptance/rejection of products. Decide on rectification and recycling methodology and allocate workforce for the same. Assign non-conforming product and wrapping material to scrap. Take appropriate actions to improve the line efficiencies, reduce packaging defectives and reduce the laminate wastage. Maintain Equipment Uptime a) Identify the method of repair and instruct fitters on repairs and verify working condition of machine post rectification. Make log book entry of shift activity in order to ensure minimum machine downtime and production loss Improve Business Processes a) Participate in maintenance meetings. Establish action plan for identified issues and set standards for the shop floor. Participate FSMS audit, facilitate non conformity closure and participate in final audit. Seek approval for resources required to close NCs. Provide FSMS training employees in assigned section. Quality issued through various means like manuals, through Q-Next initiatives and various drives like TQM and Kaizens etc. b) Check variances and take actions to control them by ensuring wastages are minimized and are within the set company norms. In order to ensure production is as per quality norms and certification standards Plan Supply Chain Parameters a) Review and Reporting - attend meetings (FCC, quality, communication, production issues etc.) b) Performance Management - feedback and discussion b/w & setting KRAs c) Learning and Development - suggesting to Human Resource Department to give training to the contract partner who are in need. e) Equipment and Process Up gradation - new machine trials, learning the operating parameters, technical points. f) Policy Making - reports against the misconduct, for disciplinary action, attending enquires **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: - Day shift **Experience**: - Dairy Packaging: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
