As a Principal Engineer - End to end Solution architect, You’ll be part of the Network Systems IT Organization, focusing on end-to-end solution and technology architecture covering Planning, Engineering, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance and Field operations. You’ll work on the overall IT architecture and design for OSS tools / interface with BSS systems and provide functionality development for the entire Network Systems IT Organization.
- Leading and driving IT solutions and initiatives by closely working with Planning, Engineering, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance and Field operations, and IT architecture teams, partners, and SMEs.
- Strategizing, planning, and executing proof-of-concepts by combining telecom domains with emerging software technologies. Understanding outside IT technology updates and implementing same into our Network & Technology IT Organization.
- Doing Research and Development work on the new emerging tools and technologies, building proof of concepts.
- Providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams in crafting solutions and describing the impact of new solutions to systems and processes.
- Understanding the TM Forum and MEF LSO specifications and standardizing the BSS and OSS APIs.
- Creating LLD's and HLA's; Working with extensive stakeholders through requirements gathering process and delivering design documents within the constructs of SAFe programs.

**Where you'll be working**

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You’ll need to have:

- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Full stack architect who provides solutions for enterprise DevOps, which include IT Development, Testing and Operational architectural solutions.
- Experience in designing and building complex, enterprise-grade architectural solutions (Java-based, NodeJS, Phyton, Go etc ).
- Experience in proficient usage of OpenStack-based cloud platforms, Kubernetes, AWS, and building cloud-native services.
- Experience in providing solutions / Architecture for Modernization / Migration projects.
- Experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD tools and technologies, SRE and micro-service architecture.
- Experience in languages such as Java OpenJDK, NodeJS, Python, Go etc & implementation of E2E spring framework.
- Experience in working with Telecom majors/ Domain.
- Experience in Web Frameworks such as AngularJS, Spring boot, React etc; Caching technologies like Redis; Service Bus integration frameworks like Apache Camel, Spring Integration, Apigee; API Gateways like Apigee; Messaging technologies like Apache Kafka,Apache Pulsar, Rabbit MQ & Amazon SQS.
- Experience in NoSQL Databases like Cassandra & RDBMS like PostgreSQL,Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL).
- Experience in BPM Workflows like RHPAM; Containers like Docker, Kubernetes & Logging and Event Collections like Splunk.
- Experience in core & solid design pattern implementations especially domain driven design.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

- A Master’s degree.
- Knowledge of wireline networks and services - Private and Public IP network services, Switched Ethernet Services, managed network services, Private line wave services as well as wireless network - LTE, RAN, 5G.
- Knowledge of ETL, Big data, Data Management, Data Modeling, Metadata Management, Data Quality.
- Experience in micro service API implementation including API Gateway.
- Experience in 4G / 5G will be a value add.
- Experience in working with TMForum either in Catalyst program or in demonstrable adaptation of Open Digital Architecture or TM Forum Open API s will be preferred; If not with TM Forum - any exposure to equivalent Telecom Industry forum will also be considered.
