**Job Responsibilities of a Property Insurance Underwriter**
- **Quote Management**: Handle the preparation and issuance of insurance quotes by comparing coverage options and premiums from various insurance providers. Ensure timely delivery of competitive quotes to clients.
- **Renewal Management**: Follow up on policy renewals proactively, ensuring that clients are informed of renewal terms and any changes in coverage or premiums. Maintain organized records of renewal dates and client communications.
- **Client Interaction**: Meet directly with clients as needed to discuss their insurance needs, explain policy details, and address any questions or concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- **Cross-Selling**: Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products to existing clients, including life, health, and general liability insurance. Promote a comprehensive approach to client insurance needs.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new insurance products. Conduct research to ensure competitive positioning and provide clients with the best options available.
- **Documentation and Compliance**: Ensure all underwriting documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions, client communications, and policy changes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, including brokers and claims adjusters, to facilitate smooth policy issuance and claims processing. Share insights and best practices to improve overall team performance.
- **Training and Development**: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance underwriting skills and knowledge of insurance products and market dynamics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹937,249.13 per year
