**Key Responsibilities**
- **Supervision and Management**:

- Oversee and coordinate the activities of production staff, including operators, technicians, and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- **Production Planning and Execution**:

- Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demands and company goals.
- Monitor production processes, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to address any issues or delays
- Ensure optimal utilization of equipment and materials, minimizing waste and downtime.
- **Quality Control**:

- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process, identifying and resolving any quality issues.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Lead or participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, Six Sigma projects, or other continuous improvement programs.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Maintain a safe working environment by promoting and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety meetings, training, and drills to ensure team members are aware of safety protocols.
- Address any safety incidents or concerns promptly and effectively.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in the steel/metal industry will be considered.
- **Experience**: 3-7 years of experience in a supervisory role within the steel/metal industry.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of steel/metal production processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with team members at all
