Implementation Advisory Consultants possess a broad understanding of cross functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively advise clients on pre-implementation and implementation activities. Activities may include current state to future state analysis, requirements gathering, configuration, data conversion, and testing. This role is a critical partner to clients during their implementation, serving as a client-side advocate that helps clients understand the impacts of key design decisions and bridges the gap for clients in how decisions today affect their system for years to come. This role includes individuals who are detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and successfully partner with clients and project teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support clients from an advisory perspective during phase 1 Workday implementations. Responsible for actively participating in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing, deployment, and cutover/ stabilization.
- Consult to touch points, dependencies, and integration aspects across multiple area(s) of Workday to provide a comprehensive solution to clients.
- Understand Workday and Kognitiv Implementation Methodology and successfully deliver it on all client engagements.
- Assist with requirements gathering and translating client requirements to Workday specifications.
- Work with the client to help transform and convert legacy data into Workday.
- Lead and execute test strategies for clients, including defining a testing strategy, writing test cases, leading test cycles, tracking defects, etc.
- Establish a post production roadmap for clients to execute on after cutover/stabilization.
- Participate in pre-implementation activities including request for proposals (RFPs), determining proper deployment methodology and timeline for clients, advising best support models for implementation, defining project teams, etc.
- Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
- Understand different country regulatory and statutory requirements and how these can be met with Workday.
- Lead portions of client sales meetings as a Subject Matter Expert; scope potential projects for area(s) of expertise.
- Contribute to the organization’s knowledge management repository through formal and informal avenues (ex: Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitation of Workday knowledge sharing sessions, regularly posting best practices, etc).
- Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members.
- Meet key performance indicators set for this role (ex: utilization target, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).
- Work in a fast-paced environment that requires tasks to be completed quickly and accurately.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years’ experience leading and deploying Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production / AMS Services or implementation / support experience as a client of Workday.
- Deep knowledge of Workday Benefits, Core HCM, Security and Reporting.
- Ability to lead projects of all sizes for the full project lifecycle in areas(s) of expertise
- from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, and go live.
- Deep understanding of Workday implementation methodology, project management principles, and change management principles.
- Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects of all sizes in both supporting and leadership roles.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with no supervision. Ability to effectively manage against timelines, deadlines, and goals.
- Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to understand client needs and build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
- Strong consulting skills and a proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences. Proven consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions to agreement of solutions in a timely manner.
