seeking an experienced data warehouse engineer for our data engineering organization.

As a member of our team, you will ensure all warehouse data is accurate and resolve any data issues.

This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling and integration practices to efficiently ingest, transform, and provision data across various sources into an organized and unified data warehouse.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of substantive relevant data warehousing and data modeling experience required.
- Strong understanding of Normalized/Dimensional model disciplines and similar data warehousing techniques
- Expert in SQL and/or SQL-based languages and performance tuning of SQL queries
- Strong experience working with ETL/ELT concepts of data integration, consolidation, enrichment, and aggregation in large volume data sets.
- Working knowledge of Data Pipelines, stream processing and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores
- Experience with various data storage technologies - e.g. RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), NoSQL (AWS DynamoDB, Azure CosmosDB), cloud storage (ADLS, S3).
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouses - e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, RedShift, etc.
- Able to create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow.
- Collaborate with business users on normalizing and aggregating large data sets based on business needs and requirements.
- Data validation skills to verify data integrity, understand discrepancies, and resolve them with the highest sense of urgency.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with complex datasets required.
- Strong analytical and organizational skill.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Analytical/Reporting Solutions like Tableau, Power BI is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages - e.g. PowerShell, Python, etc is a plus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, code, test, and deploy new data warehouse and tabular model features.
- Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and external sources, using star schema and dimensional modeling.
- Provide guidance on data modeling best practices for the warehouse and tabular models.
- Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis.
- Troubleshoot production support issues.
- Work with the team to evaluate business needs and priorities, liaise with key business partners and address team needs related to data systems and management.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Business Intelligence data architecture.
